WiMon 100

The autonomous WiMon100 unit comprise of vibration and temperature sensor, a high capacity battery and a radio module communicating using WirelessHART protocol.

Due to the cost efficiency, small foot print and ease of mounting and installation of the WiMon100 sensor, continous vibration monitoring can now be realized for all types of rotating machines. The WiMon100 sensor design and the WirelessHART network configuration has been carefully optimised in order to target vibration signature analysis for ball bearings of a motor to identify wear and tear while supporting a lifetime of the network operation to be around 5 years.

WiMon100 units form a mesh communication network; providing a secure, reliable and redundant path from WiMon100 sensor to the gateway and onwards to monitoring and analysis tools.
